For Asian Film Awards Academy
Asian Film Awards Academy Launches "Hong Kong Film Gala Presentation 2025" in Dubai, with eight selected films screening from 22 –28 March. Joining the events were three outstanding filmmakers: director Oliver Siu Kuen CHAN of "Montages of a Modern Motherhood", director Thomas LEE of "An Abandoned Team" and actress Sheena CHAN from "Blossoms Under Somewhere." Film critic Patrick SUEN also joined the group.
Hong Kong Film Gala Presentation is organised by the Asian Film Awards Academy and co-organised with the local independent cinema, Cinema Akil, and financially supported by the Cultural and Creative Industry Development Agency (CCIDAHK), the Film Development Fund, and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) in Dubai. Eight films will be screened during the event, including "An Abandoned Team", "Blossoms Under Somewhere", "Montages of a Modern Motherhood", "Cesium Fallout", "Last Song for You", "Papa", "The Last Dance", and restored 4K version of the classic "The Bride with White Hair."
